Editing, Trimming of Clips

We imported the footage into final cut express in large clips, however we realised that with clips of about 3 minutes it would be harder to edit. Before we edited out footage we uploaded all of the large clips and saved them, we then cut all of the large clips down smaller and saved it again. By doing this it became easier to place the clips in the order that we wanted, and the editing didn't become too confusing.
